Sarah supports young children, teens, and parents as they navigate early childhood development, emotional regulation, intense behavioral shifts, or major life transitions. Grounded in attachment theory, child-centered play, mind-body techniques, and narrative therapy, Sarah tailors her collaborative approach to each client's unique developmental needs. Believing that trust and the therapeutic relationship are the foundation of change, she is committed to creating an inclusive, safe space that honors every family’s unique background and story.

Sarah values laughter in sessions as much as quiet reflection, keeping therapy engaging, practical, and supportive. Prior to Family Roots, her career spanned early childhood developmental testing, behavioral support in residential care, and youth mentorship. Her background in coaching and human resources also gives her a practical, compassionate understanding of the daily stressors families navigate. She holds a Master’s degree in Child Development from Erikson Institute and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work.

Outside of work, you can find Sarah biking with her husband and two daughters, or playing at the park with her 1-year-old Labradoodle, Ivy.
